About the Role

We are looking for Maintenance Technicians to join our Maintenance team at Meerakunj Polymers Pvt. Ltd. The role involves maintaining production machinery and equipment, attending to breakdowns, carrying out preventive maintenance, and ensuring smooth and uninterrupted plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out routine inspection and maintenance of production machinery and equipment.
- Attend to machine breakdowns and identify the root cause of equipment failures.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities as per the maintenance schedule.
- Monitor the condition and performance of machines and equipment.
- Troubleshoot basic mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, as applicable.
- Support installation, commissioning, and servicing of machines and equipment.
- Ensure machines are maintained in protected and operational condition.
- Maintain records of breakdowns, preventive maintenance, repairs, and spare parts used.
- Coordinate with the Production team to minimize machine downtime.
- Report major technical issues to the Maintenance Supervisor / Manager.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment.
- Follow all safety procedures, maintenance standards, and company policies.
- Maintain good housekeeping and safety standards in the maintenance area.

Qualification

- ITI / Diploma / Engineering candidates preferred.




- Candidates with relevant technical or maintenance experience may also be considered.
- Freshers with the required technical qualification are welcome to apply.

Experience

- Freshers to 5 years of relevant experience can be considered.
- Candidates with experience in plastics, pipe manufacturing, extrusion, injection moulding, industrial machinery, or similar manufacturing industries will be preferred.

Technical Skills

- Basic knowledge of industrial machinery and maintenance.
- Basic troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical maintenance.
- Familiarity with motors, pumps, gearboxes, compressors, sensors, panels, and related equipment will be an advantage.
- Ability to read basic electrical/mechanical drawings will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices.

- Ability to respond quickly to machine breakdowns.
