Job Description

Sunrise Public School, Dhanauri (Kaithal), is looking for a qualified, dedicated, and passionate TGT English Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should have strong English language skills, effective classroom management abilities, and a student-centred approach to teaching.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach English to middle and secondary classes as assigned by the school.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and teaching materials.
- Develop students' reading, writing, speaking, grammar, and comprehension skills.
- Conduct regular tests, assessments, and revision activities.
- Maintain classroom discipline and encourage active student participation.
- Check notebooks, maintain academic records, and complete syllabus within the prescribed schedule.
- Support students in improving their English communication skills.
- Communicate students' academic progress to parents when required.
- Participate in staff meetings, school activities, and other academic duties.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in English or a relevant subject.
- B.Ed.



preferred; required qualifications should comply with applicable recruitment rules.
- Strong command of written and spoken English.
- Positive communication and classroom management skills.
- Basic computer skills for preparing worksheets, question papers, and academic records.
- Freshers with strong subject knowledge may also apply.

Preferred Experience

- Previous teaching experience in a recognised school is preferred.
- Experience teaching Classes 6–10 and familiarity with CBSE/NCERT curriculum will be an advantage.
