Key Responsibilities

- Manage the general ledger and perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
- Prepare accurate monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Handle property-level accounting: rental income, CAM (common area maintenance) charges, security deposits, and tenant ledgers
- Track project and construction costs, capitalize eligible expenses, and monitor budget vs. actual performance
- Perform bank, intercompany, and balance sheet account reconciliations
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor, contractor, and broker commission payments
- Prepare and review revenue recognition entries for property sales and leases in line with applicable standards (IFRS/GAAP)
- Calculate depreciation and maintain the fixed asset register for investment properties
- Prepare tax filings and ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations (VAT/GST, withholding tax, income tax, property tax)
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing schedules and documentation




- Review work of junior accountants and recommend process improvements to strengthen internal controls

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent (strongly preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2-3 years in a real estate company (development, property management, or investment)
- Solid knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and real estate accounting practices
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Yardi, MRI, AppFolio, Tally, SAP, or Oracle
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, financial modeling)
- Solid understanding of taxation and statutory compliance
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and time-management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
