About the role:
We are keeping this as one role rather than two because most of our work cuts vertically. A change to how a run reports its state touches the runtime, the API contract and three screens. Splitting that across two people at our size produces handoffs, not speed.

The AI layer is only as trustworthy as the plumbing under it and only as usable as the surface over it. This role owns both.

What you will own:
Backend and platform

- FastAPI services across the Control and Agent Runtime planes.
- The agent runtime harness — the generic stateless worker that loads a kit and becomes that agent for the length of one run.
- Deterministic decision engines. These are pure, testable, model-free code and they are the heart of the product.
- Authorisation, capability tokens and the audit path. Multi-tenancy enforced structurally rather than by convention.
- Durable orchestration: retries, timers, compensation, resumption after restart.
- Integration surfaces — connectors to operator systems, wrapped as tools with controlled egress.
- PostgreSQL schema design, query performance and row-level isolation.

Frontend and console

- The React, Vite and TypeScript console.
- Data-dense views: run pipelines, verdict and evidence detail, causal chain read-outs, audit views.
- Real-time surfaces — server-sent event streams, live run state, partial results arriving out of order.
- The copilot surface: chat, streaming responses, and a page context bus where components register structured context rather than raw state.
- Geospatial and time-series visualisation.
- A shared component library, built with the designer rather than after them.
- Accessibility, performance and honest behaviour under bad networks and large datasets.

Across both

- Test coverage and performance for every path you own.




- API contracts you would be happy to consume yourself — you are usually the one consuming them.
- Following a bug across the boundary rather than filing it at the boundary.

What you need
Backend

- Strong Python. FastAPI, Flask or Django in production.
- API design, authentication and authorisation patterns, and the discipline to version a contract properly.
- PostgreSQL at depth — schema design, indexing, query performance, row-level isolation.
- Async work, queues and background processing.

Frontend

- Strong React and TypeScript. Up-to-date hooks, state management, composition patterns.
- You have built data-dense interfaces — dashboards, operational tools, anything with too much information and not enough space. Not just marketing pages or basic CRUD.
- Real-time or streaming UI: websockets, server-sent events, or equivalent. Partial and out-of-order data does not frighten you.
- Charting and visualisation — Recharts, D3 or similar.
- Design sense. You are often the last person between a design and the user, and you will be asked what you would change.

Everything else

- You write tests without being asked and can explain what each one protects.
- Docker and Git. Comfortable in a Linux environment.
- You use AI dev tooling heavily — Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or similar — and review its output critically. We do not count tokens; we do expect you to own whatever comes back out.
- You can hold a problem across the whole stack rather than handing it over at the boundary.
- You explain your work clearly to engineers and to non-engineers. Writing is part of the job.

Pay: ₹482,000.00 - ₹1,650,000.00 per year
