Job Description – Senior Interior Designer

Job Summary-:-

We are looking for an experienced and creative Senior Interior Designer to join our team at D'LIFE, Anna Nagar. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in residential interior design, space planning, 2D/3D design, material selection, and client coordination, with the ability to manage projects from concept to execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand client requirements, preferences, and budget to develop customized interior design solutions.
- Prepare space plans, furniture layouts, working drawings, and detailed interior design concepts.
- Create 2D drawings and 3D visualizations using software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar tools.
- Select suitable materials, finishes, colours, lighting, furniture, and accessories.
- Present design concepts and proposals to clients and incorporate feedback.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, execution teams, and vendors to ensure design accuracy.
- Conduct site visits and verify measurements, drawings, and execution quality.
- Ensure projects meet agreed timelines, quality standards, and client expectations.
- Manage multiple residential interior design projects simultaneously.
- Guide and mentor junior interior designers and support the design team.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of residential interior design and space planning.




- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D visualization tools, and other relevant design software.
- Good understanding of materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and interior execution.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client-handling skills.
- Strong creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and manage project deadlines.

Eligibility Criteria

- Experience: 2+ years in interior design, preferably in residential interiors.
- Qualification: Degree or Diploma in Interior Design or a related field.
- Location: Anna Nagar, Chennai.
- Preferred: Candidates with experience in modular interiors, turnkey residential projects, and end-to-end design coordination.
