About the Role

Highlight Studios is looking for an experienced and creative Video Editor to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have 3–5years of professional video editing experience and a strong understanding of modern social media and digital content.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit high-quality videos for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and other digital platforms.
- Turn raw footage into engaging, professional video content.
- Add transitions, captions, graphics, music, sound effects, and color correction.
- Create short-form and long-form videos according to project requirements.
- Follow creative direction and maintain consistent editing quality.
- Make revisions based on feedback.
- Organize project files and meet agreed deadlines.
- Keep up with current social media video trends.

Requirements

- 3–5years of qualified video editing experience.




- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Cap Cut,DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
- Robust understanding of storytelling, pacing, audio, transitions, and color grading.
- Experience editing social media content.
- Strong attention to detail and creativity.
- Ability to work independently from home.
- Reliable internet connection and a suitable computer/work setup.
- Portfolio/showreel is required.
