General Manager - Operations is responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the Resort, maintaining high service standards, coordinating between departments and enhancing guest satisfaction. The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills and experience in the Hospitality industry to ensure seamless operations across Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B;, Banquet, Resort Operations, Sales and Guest Relations.

Key Responsibilities: 1. Guest Experience & Service Excellence

- Ensure a seamless check-in and check-out experience for guests.
- Address guest complaints and concerns promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Monitor online reviews and guest feedback, implementing improvements where needed.
- Ensure resort services and amenities meet or exceed guest expectations.

2. Operational Management

- Oversee daily resort operations, ensuring all departments function efficiently.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and service quality.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene standards in all operational areas.
- Work with department heads to implement operational policies and procedures.

3. Staff Supervision and Training

- Assist in recruiting, training and supervising Front Office, Housekeeping and F&B; teams.
- Monitor staff performance and ensure adherence to service standards.
- Organize regular training sessions to enhance guest service and operational efficiency.

4. Revenue & Cost Management

- Support upselling initiatives (Morning Walk, Bullock Cart Ride, Massage, etc.).
- Assist in optimizing room occupancy rates and F&B; revenue through strategic planning including achieving Monthly and Yearly Projected Target Revenue.
- Control operational costs by monitoring inventory, energy usage, and departmental budgets.

5. Coordination & Communication





- Act as a link between departments to ensure smooth inter-departmental communication.
- Work closely with Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance and F&B; to address operational challenges.
- Maintain regular communication with the General Manager and senior management regarding operational updates.

6. Compliance & Safety

- Ensure adherence to statutory policies and operational regulations.
- Implement safety protocols for guests and employees.
- Oversee crisis management plans for emergencies like fire, medical situations, and power failures.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelors degree in Hotel Management or Hospitality.
- 15 to 18 years of experience in hotel operations, minimum 8 Years of experience as General Manager - Operations and preferably in a Luxury Resorts.
- Strong knowledge of F&B; operations.
- Experience with PMS (Property Management Systems) and hospitality software is a plus.

- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to handle guest complaints professionally.
- Good understanding of hotel revenue management and cost control.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high service standards.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English, Kannada, Hindi, local languages and any Foriegn languages.
