Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying system irregularities and delivering timely solutions to maintain seamless operations. The position demands continuous monitoring, collaboration with different teams, and a commitment to ensuring the stability and performance of critical applications within a dynamic environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- -Responsible for SAP Architecture and SAP HANA deployment, Basis administration/Security, OS/DB Migration and technical core competencies tasks including SAP application, SAP HANA, installation, upgrades and applying Support packages and installation of add-on components.

- Experience in Cloud deliverables in SAP HEC ECS Environment in Tech-ops, SAP Cloud Connector, BTP, CTS+, IAS/IPS, Ariba, SAC, Datasphere, Success Factor, on-premises systems S4HANA, GTS, BW, SCM, MDG, GRC, EWM and Integrated many third-party applications
- Experience in Designing and setting up complete SAP System landscapes.
- Experience in Configured SLT (SAP Landscape Transformation) for real-time replication and resolved data replication issues.
- Experience with private/public cloud-based SAP implementation.
- Knowledge of SSO and SAML implementation.
- Experience in SAP Fiori implementation for S/4HANA.
- Experienced in performance tuning of SAP at System level, Database level and OS-level. Troubleshoot authorizations issues.




- Experience with various SAP components including HANA S/4, Suite on HANA, EWM, MDG, GRC, ERP and other SAP solutions
- Contributes towards system landscape strategy, including design, optimization and realization of solutions such as HA, DR.
- Experience in Disaster Recovery (DR) drills and failover activities, ensuring business continuity.
- Experience in SOAMANAGER services for web service enablement and integration scenarios.
- Experience in Client Administration: Local Client Copy and Remote Client Copy, Client Copy Using Export and Import Method, Client Creation, Client Deletion, Client Maintenance
- Experience in OpenText configuration, upgrades, archiving support
- Manage the entire lifecycle of SAP solutions, including requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Manage changes and releases to SAP systems, ensuring minimal disruption and maintaining system stability
- Monitor and optimize SAP business processes, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring compliance.
- Monitor the technical infrastructure of SAP systems, including servers, databases, and interfaces.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems related to SAP systems and solutions.
- Analyze and improve the performance of SAP systems and solutions

Professional & Technical Skills:

- Experience with various SAP components including HANA S/4, Suite on HANA, EWM, MDG, GRC, ERP and other SAP solutions
- Perform Basis administrator configuration activities for new enhancements requests from business and support team.
- Experience in implementation of SAP HANA landscape with 5 Tier System replication SAP HANA Back & Restore,



HANA upgrades and Maintenance
- Experience in Client Administration: Local Client Copy and Remote Client Copy, Client Copy Using Export and Import Method, Client Creation, Client Deletion, Client Maintenance
- Enhance and Support HA and DR solutions
- Efficient Transport Management and troubleshooting if necessary.
- Maintain architecture documentation, runbooks for all infrastructure and networking components
- Maintain SAP data Replication and transformation landscape
- Experience in SAML configuration for Single Sign-On (SSO) enablement.
- Experience in Installation and setup of Central Gateway for FIORI implementation
- Experience in performance tuning of SAP at System level, Database level and OS-level. Troubleshoot authorizations issues.
- Strong troubleshooting experience in connectivity issues (SMTP, RFC, HTTP, SSL certificates)
- Supported audit activities ensuring compliance with security and governance standards
- Support Go-live and post go-live operations

Additional Information:

- 10+ years of experience with Basis Configuration/administration
- Proficiency in SAP technical concepts and technologies.
- Expertise in SAP system installation, configuration, upgrades (SPS/EHP), and patching activities
- Strong experience in SAP HANA administration including installation, upgrades, backup, recovery, and performance tuning
- Hands-on experience in HANA system refresh, database migration and revision upgrades

-Strong hands -on experience in SAP SaaS solution

- Managed end-to-end transport landscape (TMS), ensuring smooth deployments across DEV, QA, and PROD environments
- Solid problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
