The Role

We are looking for an experienced Head of Engineering & Delivery to lead engineering operations, project delivery, team performance, and execution across our distributed teams.

This role combines Engineering Leadership, Delivery Management, Project Management, and Agile Execution, with full accountability for delivering high-quality software on time.

You will serve as the primary point of contact between the engineering and delivery teams and the CEO, ensuring clear ownership, strong execution, and proactive decision-making.

Required Qualifications

- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, technical project management, or software delivery.
- At least 5 years managing distributed technical teams of 25+ people.
- Proven experience owning end-to-end delivery of multiple software projects.
- Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, SDLC, project management,



and release management.
- Experience managing engineering, development, BA, and QA teams.
- Strong understanding of SaaS products, APIs, integrations, and software development processes.
- Hands-on experience with Jira, dashboards, delivery KPIs, and reporting.
- Proven ability to manage delivery risks, project timelines, team performance, and client escalations.
- Solid leadership, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing teams based in India.
- Experience in enterprise SaaS, healthcare, life sciences, or regulated industries.
- Familiarity with SOC 2 and software quality standards.
- PMP, CSM, PSM, or SAFe certification.
- Experience managing distributed teams across international time zones.

We are looking for a confident, firm, and results-driven leader who can make tough decisions, hold teams accountable, address underperformance directly, handle difficult conversations, and drive execution without constant supervision.

The ideal candidate must be assertive, proactive, and capable of leading teams with authority, fairness, and professionalism.

Pay: ₹1,800,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
