Responsibilities and Duties
1. Greeting patrons, and if needed, confirming and taking reservations
2. Escorting VIP guests to tables
3. Answering phone calls and giving basic information on reservations, availability, restaurant hours and services
4. Preparing for guests by cleaning and setting tables
5. Assisting guests by providing menus; keeping menus clean and presentable
6. Delivering beverages from the bartender
7. Stocking wait staff serving stations with napkins, utensils, trays, condiments, and salt and pepper containers
8. Clearing table as guests complete their meals and preparing tables for next guests
9. Following and maintaining all sanitation and safety procedures
10. Assists in cleaning, opening/closing tasks, and other duties as needed
11.
Additional duties may include assisting kitchen staff with preparing salads, appetizers, or desserts; adding garnishes or decorations to food
