About the Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and curious Recent Product Development (NPD) Engineer (Junior level) or Intern to join our product development team. This is a great opportunity for fresh graduates and early-career engineers to learn how a product goes from concept to commercial launch. You will work with design, manufacturing, supply chain and quality teams, with hands-on mentorship from senior engineers.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Lead or support end-to-end product development cycles including concept generation, feasibility studies, design validation, and production launch.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, Manufacturing, Quality, Marketing, Supply Chain) to define product requirements and ensure manufacturability.
- Create and manage technical documentation including design specifications, DFMEAs, BOMs, test plans, and engineering change requests.
- Develop and validate prototypes and first articles using rapid prototyping, CAD, and CAE tools.
- Participate in design reviews and risk assessments.
- Support root cause analysis and problem-solving efforts for design or production-related issues.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resource planning in alignment with the NPD roadmap.
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors during the development of components and tooling.
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and internal quality processes.

What We're Looking For:





- Bachelor's degree (or final-year student, for the internship) in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Product Design or a related engineering field.
- 0-2 years of experience in NPD, product design or manufacturing. Internships, academic projects and prototype builds count.
- Working knowledge of a 3D CAD tool such as SolidWorks, Creo, Fusion 360 or CATIA.
- Basic understanding of DFM/DFA, GD&T; and tolerance stack-up.
- Exposure to prototyping methods such as 3D printing, CNC or fabrication, and to basic materials selection and testing.
- Good documentation, communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to learn and take ownership.
- Awareness of quality standards such as ISO 9001, and of safety or compliance requirements for products (CE, toy safety), is a plus.

Pay: ₹360,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
