Project Manager – Civil (Hydro Structures & Water Works)

Location: Safdarjung Enclave, New Delhi, Delhi

Salary: ₹80,000–₹2,50,000 per month, based on qualifications and relevant experience

Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience

Work arrangement: In person. This is not a work-from-home role. Site visits and project execution responsibilities are part of the position.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to lead the engineering design and construction of hydro structures, canal infrastructure and water works. The successful candidate must be able to take projects from technical design through site execution and handover.

Key responsibilities

- Design, review and manage construction of civil foundations, canals, barrages, reservoirs, penstocks and associated hydraulic and hydro structures.

- Prepare and review structural calculations, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of quantities and construction methodologies.

- Coordinate geotechnical inputs, hydraulic requirements, structural design and civil interfaces with mechanical equipment.

- Lead site execution, erection and installation coordination, construction supervision and technical problem-solving.

- Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, contractors, consultants and suppliers.

- Ensure quality control, site safety, applicable engineering standards and approved design compliance.

- Oversee inspections, testing,



progress reporting, documentation and project handover.

Required qualifications and experience

- Master's degree and PhD in Civil Engineering or a relevant specialisation such as Structural Engineering, Water Resources Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering.

- Candidates from IITs are preferred.

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the design and construction of hydro structures, canals, foundations or water works.

- Demonstrated ability to manage both engineering design and in office project execution.

- Strong technical leadership, planning, contractor management and communication skills.
