As a Sales Executive, you will work directly with clients, architects, interior designers and project professionals while learning the world of luxury and architectural lighting.

THE ROLE

SALES EXECUTIVE

As a Sales Executive, you will be part of the customer-facing team at Lamp Crafts.

You will work closely with our Senior Client Advisors and management while progressively learning to handle customers and projects independently.

Your first responsibility is not to know everything.

Your first responsibility is to listen, learn and understand.

You will learn how to understand a project, communicate with clients, present products, follow up on opportunities and eventually advise customers with confidence.

This is a role for someone who wants to become exceptionally good at what they do.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Client Experience

* Welcome and engage customers professionally.

* Assist clients and professional visitors in the showroom.

* Listen and understand their requirements.

* Learn how to conduct meaningful discovery conversations.

* Assist Senior Client Advisors during customer interactions.

* Develop professional relationships with clients and design professionals.

Sales

You will progressively learn to:

* Handle enquiries.

* Understand project requirements.

* Present products.

* Demonstrate lighting.

* Prepare and follow up on quotations.

* Handle customer questions.

* Follow up on opportunities.

* Assist in closing sales.

* Build repeat relationships.

You will learn consultative selling, rather than simply selling whatever a customer asks for.

Product & Lighting

You will develop knowledge of:

* Architectural lighting

* Decorative lighting

* Indoor and outdoor lighting

* Lighting technology

* Materials

* Optics

* Performance

* Beam control

* Colour quality

* Dimming

* Applications

You will learn to understand the difference between products and, more importantly, why Lamp Crafts has chosen to represent them.

Project Coordination

As your knowledge and responsibility develop, you will assist with:

* Architects

* Interior designers

* Lighting designers

* Consultants

* Contractors

* Electrical teams

* Vendors

* Installation teams





You will progressively gain exposure to the complete journey from enquiry → selection → quotation → order → delivery → installation → after-sales.

Showroom

The showroom is an important part of the Lamp Crafts experience.

You will be expected to contribute to maintaining:

* Product presentation

* Displays

* Samples

* Cleanliness

* Order

* Customer areas

* General showroom readiness

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

Minimum Qualification

Graduate in any discipline.

Candidates from backgrounds such as:

Architecture | Interior Design | Engineering | Construction | Hospitality | Aviation | Business | Sales & Marketing

may be particularly suitable.

Experience

Fresh graduates and candidates with 0–3 years of relevant experience may be considered.

Relevant experience in:

* Sales

* Premium retail

* Customer service

* Hospitality

* Architecture / interiors

* Lighting

* Business development

* Client servicing

will be an advantage.

What matters most is potential, communication, attitude and willingness to learn.

LOCATION & COMMITMENT

Location: Bengaluru

This is a showroom-based position.

Candidates should either be located within a practical commuting distance of the Lamp Crafts showroom or be willing to relocate to Bengaluru.

6 days a week | Approximately 9–10 hours per day

This is not a work-from-home, hybrid or part-time position.





The early years of Lamp Crafts will require commitment from the people building it.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

* Fixed salary based on experience and capability

* Monthly individual and team performance incentives

* Annual performance incentives

* Travel allowance for approved business travel

* Accommodation and food may be provided after successful completion of probation, subject to company policy and availability

* Health insurance after 6 months, subject to company policy

* Annual performance bonus eligibility from the 3rd year onwards, after completion of 2 full years with Lamp Crafts

The annual bonus is performance-based and is not fixed or guaranteed.
