Job Summary

We are looking for a Production Engineer to oversee steel fabrication, production planning, and installation activities for Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) projects. The role involves supervising shop floor and site operations, ensuring quality fabrication, coordinating manpower, maintaining safety standards, and achieving production and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Fabrication Supervision

- Supervise daily steel fabrication and production activities for PEB components.

- Ensure production schedules and project timelines are achieved without compromising quality.

- Monitor fabrication processes, material utilization, and workflow efficiency.

- Coordinate with production, quality, and project teams for smooth execution.

Workforce Management

- Supervise shop floor workers and site labour teams.

- Allocate daily work and monitor productivity.

- Ensure effective coordination between production, quality, stores, and project teams.

Quality Control

- Ensure fabricated components comply with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

- Identify defects, monitor corrective actions, and minimize rework.

- Coordinate with the quality team to maintain inspection standards throughout production and installation.

Safety Compliance

- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and industry standards.

- Monitor the proper use of PPE and safe working practices.

- Promote a safe, disciplined, and accident-free work environment.

Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain daily production, fabrication, and installation reports.

- Track production output, labour productivity, material consumption, and project progress.





- Report delays, operational challenges, and corrective actions to management.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of steel fabrication and Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) systems.

- Understanding of fabrication drawings and structural steel components.

- Strong leadership and manpower management skills.

- Ability to coordinate multiple activities and meet project deadlines.

- Basic knowledge of quality standards and workplace safety practices.

- Valuable communication and problem-solving skills.
