Electrical Design & Pre-Sales Engineer – C&I; Solar EPC

Role Overview
We are looking for an Electrical Design & Pre-Sales Engineer responsible for developing optimized electrical designs and techno-commercial solutions for C&I; solar EPC projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare electrical designs and engineering documents for C&I; solar projects.
- Develop SLD, cable sizing, equipment sizing, protection and earthing layouts.
- Prepare BOQ/BOM, technical specifications and material requirements.
- Perform system sizing, load calculations, voltage-drop and cable calculations.
- Review site survey data and develop technically feasible solar solutions.
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals, cost estimates and tender submissions.
- Coordinate with Sales, Project, Procurement and Engineering teams.
- Provide technical presentations and clarifications to clients.
- Evaluate inverter, module, transformer, HT/LT and other electrical equipment.




- Support commercial negotiations with technical inputs and value-engineering proposals.
- Review client specifications, tender documents and applicable electrical standards.
- Support project teams during execution by resolving design and technical queries.

Key Requirements

- 3–7 years of experience in Solar EPC / Electrical Design / Pre-Sales.
- Solid knowledge of C&I; rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office; experience with PVsyst/Helioscope or similar software preferred.
- Good understanding of HT/LT systems, transformers, protection, earthing, cable sizing and grid connectivity.
- Experience in BOQ, estimation, costing and techno-commercial proposal preparation.
- Strong analytical, communication and client-facing skills.
- Ability to work on multiple proposals/projects simultaneously.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
