Business Development Intern

Brainy Neurals is an AI-native engineering company out of Ahmedabad, built from one person to a team of fifteen-plus without outside funding. We design AI visual inspection systems for manufacturers, and that focus traces back to our founder's early years optimizing computer-vision models in C++ for edge devices.

As a Business Development Intern, you'd help the team open doors with plant heads, quality heads, ops heads, and digital or IT heads at manufacturers in auto-components, brake pads, metal stamping, and electronics, across India and nearby export markets. The outreach we send always references something specific, like a prospect's actual defect problem or the plant they run. Generic pitches get deleted, and research-backed ones get replies.

What you'll do

- Build and keep current a list of manufacturing accounts that fit our ICP, using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Crunchbase, and ZoomInfo.
- Run outbound email and LinkedIn sequences through our stack, GMass and Dripify, and log every reply the same day it lands.
- Watch for intent signals, funding news, plant expansions, new launches, or a hiring push for AI and vision roles, and flag the sharp ones to the Director.
- Keep the CRM and pipeline honest. Every lead gets a stage and a dated next step.
- Turn rough discovery-call notes into clean follow-up emails and proposal outlines, often working with Claude to do it fast and well.

What we're looking for

- You write in plain, specific terms, and if you can't say what you mean clearly,



we'll notice it in your application before we notice it in an outreach email.
- Ownership matters here, and it shows up in the small moments. When you miss something, you say so and bring a fix.
- Comfort with AI tools matters too. You should already lean on Claude or ChatGPT for your own work, and you should be able to write a sharp, specific prompt rather than a vague one.
- You need a thick skin for cold outreach. Rejection is routine here, and the next message still has to go out.
