Job Summary

Kandas Interiors is looking for a Production Executive – Cutting List to join our team in Thrissur, Kerala. The role will be responsible for preparing accurate and production-ready cutting lists based on approved joinery drawings, ensuring optimal material utilization and smooth coordination with the production team.

The ideal candidate should have relevant experience in joinery, furniture production, or interior fit-out, with solid knowledge of cutting-list preparation, materials, dimensions, and shop drawings.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare accurate cutting lists based on approved joinery and shop drawings.
- Review drawings, dimensions, materials, specifications, and production requirements.
- Calculate material requirements and optimize material usage and wastage.
- Interpret joinery/shop drawings and translate them into production-ready cutting lists.
- Coordinate with draftsmen, production, and project teams for technical clarifications.
- Ensure cutting lists are accurate, complete, and released on time for production.
- Maintain proper records of cutting lists, revisions,



and related documentation.
- Check and verify dimensions, quantities, materials, and specifications before release.
- Support the production team in resolving drawing and cutting-list-related issues.
- Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure smooth and timely production.

Requirements

- Relevant experience in joinery, furniture production, interior fit-out, or woodworking.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in cutting-list preparation.
- Ability to read and interpret joinery/shop drawings.
- Good understanding of MDF, plywood, particle board, laminates, veneers, hardware, and other joinery materials.
- Good numerical ability, accuracy, and strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD or joinery/furniture production software will be an advantage.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with production and technical teams.
- GCC/UAE joinery experience will be preferred.
