Position Overview

Dr. Aravind’s IVF Fertility & Pregnancy Center is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Incharge to oversee pharmacy activities at our Chennai and Tiruppur locations.

The role involves coordinating pharmacy staff, monitoring medicine inventory, supporting prescription-related activities, maintaining records, and ensuring that routine pharmacy operations are carried out accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise the daily functioning of the pharmacy and coordinate work among pharmacy staff.
- Ensure medicines are dispensed accurately against authorized prescriptions.
- Monitor medicine availability and identify items requiring replenishment.
- Coordinate with purchase, stores, accounts, and other departments as needed.
- Maintain records related to medicine receipts, issues, stock movement, and inventory.
- Conduct regular checks of batch numbers, expiry dates, quantities, and storage conditions.
- Organize periodic stock verification and address discrepancies appropriately.
- Ensure medicines are stored and handled according to applicable requirements.
- Maintain required pharmacy registers, reports, and documentation.




- Support appropriate handling and documentation of restricted or controlled medicines where applicable.
- Coordinate with doctors and nursing teams regarding medication-related requirements.
- Guide pharmacy staff on routine procedures and workflow.
- Monitor the cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area.
- Support implementation of hospital pharmacy procedures and quality practices.

Candidate Requirements

- D.Pharm / B.Pharm or relevant pharmacy qualification.
- Valid Pharmacy Council registration as applicable.
- Minimum 5 years of hospital pharmacy experience.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or pharmacy in-charge role is preferred.
- Valuable knowledge of medicine inventory and pharmacy operations.
- Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
- Good communication and team coordination abilities.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with pharmacy documentation.
- Responsible approach to medicine handling and patient safety.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
