About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Collection Manager to lead and manage our customer collection operations for KAS Jewellery’s gold savings/chit schemes.

The candidate will be responsible for collection target achievement, team management, customer payment follow-up, overdue control, branch-wise collection performance, and ensuring smooth execution of collection operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and monitor the overall customer collection operations across branches.
- Lead and supervise Collection Staff / Collection Executives / Scheme Agents.
- Set daily, weekly and monthly collection targets and ensure achievement.
- Monitor weekly and monthly chit/savings scheme collections.
- Track pending, overdue and missed payments and ensure timely follow-up.
- Prepare and review branch-wise and staff-wise collection performance reports.
- Monitor Collection Staff performance through daily collection updates and MIS.
- Ensure proper customer follow-up through phone calls, field visits and other approved communication channels.
- Identify customers with regular payment delays and implement appropriate follow-up plans.
- Coordinate with Branch Managers, Sales Team, Telecalling Team and Management to improve collection efficiency.
- Ensure all collections are properly recorded and updated in the company system/app.
- Monitor collection staff routes, customer visits and productivity.
- Handle important/high-value customer collection issues and escalations.
- Ensure collection staff follow company policies, customer communication standards and operational procedures.




- Take corrective action and provide guidance to underperforming collection staff.
- Analyse collection trends and provide management with daily/weekly/monthly collection reports.
- Support customer retention and encourage existing customers to continue their schemes and take new schemes.
- Assist management in improving collection processes, reducing overdue amounts and increasing overall collection efficiency.

We are looking for someone who has:

- 5–7 years of experience in collection management, jewellery, chit/savings schemes, NBFC, finance or field collection operations.
- Strong experience in managing a field collection team.
- Willingness to travel between branches and customer locations when required.
- Ability to handle collection targets and work under pressure
- Good understanding of customer payment cycles and overdue follow-up.
- Solid communication and negotiation skills.
- Good leadership and team-management skills.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets / Collection MIS.
- Ability to analyse collection data and take corrective action.

Experience in the jewellery industry / gold savings scheme / chit business will be an added advantage

What We Expect

The Collection Manager should be capable of taking complete ownership of the collection function, from planning and team allocation to customer follow-up, overdue control, performance monitoring and management reporting.
