- Create and develop new fashion designs for blouses, dresses, gowns, skirts and ethnic wear.
- Develop unique designs according to current fashion trends and customer requirements.
- Select suitable fabrics, colours, trims and embellishments for each design.
- Prepare design sketches and communicate designs clearly to the stitching team.
- Work closely with tailors and embroidery/Aari work team to achieve the desired finish.
- Handle customized and made-to-measure outfits based on client requirements.
- Suggest suitable designs, neck patterns, sleeve patterns and colour combinations to customers.
- Check fitting, finishing and overall quality of the final garment.
- Coordinate with customers from design selection to final deliver
- REQUIREMENTS
- Fashion designing / garment designing knowledge.
- Valuable understanding of fabric, colour combination, garment construction and fitting.
- Creativity and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Aari work / embroidery is an added advantage.
- Ability to work according to customer requirements and deadlines.
- Experience in custom stitching is preferred.
