Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and target-oriented Assistant Sales Manager to support the Sales Manager in driving sales performance, managing the sales team, improving customer engagement, and achieving branch sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Sales Manager in achieving monthly and annual sales targets.
- Supervise, guide, and motivate the sales team to improve performance.
- Monitor daily enquiries, follow-ups, test rides, bookings, and deliveries.
- Ensure proper follow-up of walk-in, digital, referral, and field-generated leads.
- Support the team in converting enquiries into bookings and sales.
- Track individual sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct regular team meetings and provide guidance on sales activities.
- Coordinate with CRM/Telecalling/Field Sales teams for effective lead management.
- Ensure proper customer handling and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Assist in planning and executing field activities, promotional campaigns, road shows, and customer events.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and local sales opportunities.
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly sales reports to the Sales Manager.




- Coordinate with other departments such as Accounts, Insurance, Finance, and Service for smooth vehicle delivery.
- Ensure compliance with company sales processes, policies, and documentation.
- Handle customer concerns and support the team in resolving escalated issues.
- Step in for the Sales Manager when required and ensure smooth day-to-day sales operations.

Candidate Requirements

- Qualification: Any Degree / Diploma.
- Experience: Min 5 years of experience in automobile sales or a related sales field.
- Solid knowledge of sales, customer handling, and lead conversion.
- Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a sales team.
- Target-oriented with strong follow-up skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Office / basic computer applications.
- Valid two-wheeler driving licence preferred.
