- Supervise the overall hospital operations during the night shift.
- Monitor the attendance and performance of night-shift staff.
- Coordinate with nurses, doctors, housekeeping, security, reception, laboratory, pharmacy, and other departments.
- Ensure adequate staffing and proper duty allocation during the night.
- Monitor patient-related concerns and ensure they are communicated to the concerned staff.
- Handle and escalate emergencies or operational issues to the appropriate authority.
- Coordinate with the duty doctor and nursing team when required.
- Ensure proper functioning of essential hospital services during the night.
- Monitor cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
- Monitor security and visitor movement within the hospital.
- Check that hospital policies, procedures,



and safety protocols are followed.
- Attend to complaints or concerns raised by patients, attendants, or staff during the night.
- Maintain proper communication with the day-shift supervisor/administrator regarding significant incidents.
- Record and report unusual incidents, emergencies, complaints, and other important events.
- Conduct regular rounds of the hospital during the shift.
- Ensure proper handover of pending issues to the morning/day-shift team.
- Perform other duties assigned by hospital management.
