Fair Pack Machineries Pvt Ltd, a Chennai-based manufacturer of packaging machines (VFFS, pre-made pouch and flow-wrap), is hiring a Design Engineer cum Drafter.

Role: Own the engineering documentation for every machine we build. Create and maintain 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings, prepare GA and fabrication drawings, build BOMs, and maintain a properly numbered, revision-controlled drawing library so production, purchase and service work from one accurate source of truth.

Requirements: 2 to 6 years in mechanical design and drafting, ideally for machines, special-purpose machines or fabricated equipment. Expert, hands-on proficiency in SolidWorks (part, assembly, drawing, sheet metal, weldments) is essential. Strong on 2D drafting standards, GD&T;, tolerancing and BOM creation. Working knowledge of Solid Edge (used alongside SolidWorks) is a plus. Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical, Mechatronics or Production.

Compensation: salary as per experience. PF, ESI and leave as per company policy.
