Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tool Maker to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will analyze blueprints, design, build, test, and repair precision tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges required for production processes. You will operate both manual and CNC machinery to ensure all tools meet exacting tolerances and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Tooling Fabrication & Assembly: Construct, fit, and assemble complex tools, dies, molds, jigs, fixtures, and precision gauges based on engineering blueprints, power tools models, or sketches.
- Machining & Setup: Set up and operate various manual and CNC machine tools (lathes, mills, surface grinders, EDM machines, and drill presses) to fabricate precision parts.
- Maintenance & Repair: Troubleshoot, inspect, maintain, and repair existing tooling and machinery to support continuous production and minimize downtime.
- Precision Measurement: Perform detailed dimensional inspections using micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, height gauges, optical comparators, and CMMs to verify tolerances (often within ±0.0001 inches).
- Collaboration & Improvement: Work closely with manufacturing engineers, design team members, and machine operators to optimize tooling design, streamline production,



and resolve machining issues.
- Safety & Standards: Maintain a protected, clean, and organized workplace following all OSHA standards and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; completion of a certified Tool Maker Apprenticeship, Associate Degree in Tool & Die Technology, or equivalent vocational training preferred.
- Experience: 3–5+ years of experience as a Tool Maker, Tool & Die Maker, or Precision Machinist in a manufacturing environment.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Hands-on experience with manual precision machines and basic setup/operation of CNC equipment.
- Proficiency with precision measurement equipment and inspection techniques.
- Basic knowledge of software (e.g., SolidWorks, Mastercam) is a plus.
- Soft Skills & Physical Requirements:
- Strong mechanical aptitude, analytical thinking, and troubleshooting abilities.
- High attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹39,000.00 per month
