We are hiring for STORE MANAGER at Leading Supermarket

Location : MADURAI

1 . Store Operations Management

Manage overall day-to-day supermarket operations.

Ensure the store opens and closes on time.

Maintain proper cleanliness, safety and store standards.

Ensure all departments function smoothly.

Monitor customer service and resolve customer complaints.

2. Staff Management

Allocate daily duties and shifts to employees.

Monitor staff attendance, punctuality and discipline.

Conduct daily staff briefings.

Train employees on customer service, product knowledge and store procedures.

Evaluate employee performance and provide feedback.

Coordinate recruitment requirements with HR.

3. Sales & Target Management

Set and monitor daily, weekly and monthly sales targets.

Analyse sales performance by department/category.

Implement strategies to improve sales.

Monitor staff productivity and sales performance.

Promote offers, discounts and seasonal sales campaigns.

4. Inventory & Stock Management

Monitor stock availability and ensure timely replenishment.

Check inward and outward stock.

Control overstocking and stock shortages.

Monitor damaged, expired and slow-moving products.

Conduct regular physical stock verification.

Coordinate with purchase/supplier teams.

5. Billing & Cash Management

Monitor billing counters and queue management.

Ensure billing accuracy.





Supervise cashiers and daily cash handling.

Check cash collection and POS reports.

Ensure proper end-of-day cash reconciliation.

Report cash discrepancies immediately.

6. Purchase & Supplier Coordination

Coordinate with suppliers and purchase team.

Check received goods against invoices.

Monitor supplier delivery schedules.

Report shortages, damages and quality issues.

Maintain valuable supplier relationships.

7. Customer Service

Ensure excellent customer experience.

Handle customer complaints professionally.

Resolve billing, product and service-related issues.

Collect customer feedback and identify improvement areas.

8. Store Visual & Product Management

Ensure proper product display and shelf arrangement.

Maintain correct price labels and promotional displays.

Follow FIFO/FEFO practices where applicable.

Ensure shelves are always adequately stocked.

Monitor product presentation and cleanliness.

9. Security & Loss Prevention

Prevent theft, pilferage and stock losses.

Monitor CCTV and security procedures.

Control unauthorized access to restricted areas.

Investigate stock/cash discrepancies.

Ensure proper security procedures are followed.

SALARY : 30 K TO 40 K
