The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, VSAM, and production support activities within large-scale enterprise environments, preferably in Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance (BFSI) domains.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and enhance Mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2.
- Perform coding, unit testing, integration testing, and deployment activities.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Support batch and online processing systems.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution.
- Conduct impact analysis for application changes and enhancements.
- Work closely with business analysts, testing teams, and infrastructure teams.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Prepare technical documentation and operational procedures.
- Support system upgrades, migrations, and modernization initiatives.
