Role summary

We are hiring a Senior Front-end Developer to lead building fast, responsive and accessible web interfaces. You will set direction and standards, mentor others and be accountable for outcomes across projects and teams.

Key responsibilities

- Set direction and quality standards for how the team will translate design mockups into responsive, cross-browser user interfaces.
- Lead and review the team's work to integrate user interfaces with back-end APIs and manage application state.
- Own the approach to how the team will write, test and maintain clean, reusable front-end code in version control.
- Guide the team to optimise page performance and accessibility across browsers and devices.
- Own outcomes and quality across projects and teams.
- Mentor and coach colleagues and review complex work.
- Evaluate tools and approaches, and advise stakeholders and leadership on trade-offs.

Experience and qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 9+ years of relevant experience.
- Proven record of leading delivery, influencing decisions and mentoring others.
