About the role:

Transcloud helps enterprises and fast-growing companies migrate, modernise and run critical workloads in the cloud. We're looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to work embedded in the platform engineering team of a global automotive team runs the CI/CD platform for a large application portfolio: thousands of services, onboarded through a self-service platform and supported 24x5. You'll build and run the pipelines that application teams depend on every day. When something breaks, you'll own it until it's fixed.

What will you do?

- Build, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and reusable pipeline templates used by hundreds of application teams.

- Support and extend the self-service onboarding platform: the portal, its backend APIs, automated pull requests across repositories, and Git Ops-based deployments.

- Take part in the on-call roster. Respond quickly to production pipeline failures, debug to root cause, and keep stakeholders updated until the issue is resolved.





- Work directly with application teams to understand their requirements, clarify gaps, and get their services onboarded.

- Automate repetitive work using Python and Terraform.

- Document how the platform works, validated against the live system, so the wider team can troubleshoot independently.

- Contribute to platform improvements such as CI/CD migrations ( Tekton to Git Hub Actions), reliability metrics, and AI-assisted engineering tools.
