complex, next-generation products. We are looking for a Materials & Supplier Management Engineer to support
semiconductor equipment development, commercialization, sourcing, supplier management, and material planning
activities.
The Role
As a Materials & Supplier Management Engineer, you will work at the intersection of Engineering, Supply Chain,
Procurement, Manufacturing, Planning, Quality, and external suppliers. You will help develop and execute material
strategies for new products, manage supplier requirements, support make-versus-buy decisions, monitor supplier
performance, manage critical and long-lead components, and drive cost, quality, and delivery objectives.
Key Responsibilities
• Forecast and communicate engineering, material, and manufacturing requirements to suppliers.
• Support make-versus-buy analysis and provide data-driven inputs for outsourcing and sourcing decisions.




• Coordinate material demand signals through MRP/ERP systems to optimize inventory and minimize excess or
obsolete inventory exposure.
• Participate in cross-functional Materials Core Teams involving Engineering, Procurement, Buyers, Planners,
Production Control, Quality, and Manufacturing.
• Coordinate materials-related deliverables throughout the NPI and product development lifecycle.
• Develop, release, and maintain materials strategies for recent projects and product introductions.
• Support commercialization and transition plans to ensure material readiness for production ramp-up.
• Participate in material change-control processes and assess the impact of engineering and supplier changes.
• Support supplier selection, qualification, assessment, and onboarding activities.
• Assist in supplier price and delivery negotiations and support commercial discussions with suppliers.
