We are currently seeking a Technology Consultant - Database QA / ETL Test Engineer to join our team in Pune, Mahārāshtra (IN-MH), India (IN).
Job Title: Technology Consultant – Database QA / ETL Test Engineer

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Database QA / ETL Test Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in database testing, ETL validation, SQL, data reconciliation, and data quality testing. The ideal candidate should have experience validating complex data pipelines, source-to-target transformations, and enterprise data warehouse solutions.

The role will collaborate with Data Engineers, ETL Developers, Business Analysts, and application teams to ensure the accuracy, completeness, integrity, and reliability of data across enterprise systems.

Day to Day Job Duties

• Perform end-to-end Database and ETL testing across source and target systems.





• Validate ETL/ELT pipelines, transformation logic, mappings, and business rules.

• Develop complex SQL queries for data validation, reconciliation, and defect investigation.

• Perform source-to-target data validation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

• Validate large-volume data loads, batch processes, and scheduled ETL jobs.

• Perform database testing including tables, views, stored procedures, functions, and data integrity.

• Validate data transformation rules, aggregations, calculations, and business logic.

• Perform data quality testing, including completeness, uniqueness, accuracy, referential integrity, and consistency checks.

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, test scripts, and regression suites.

• Identify data discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, and work with Data Engineers/ETL Developers to resolve defects.

• Perform backend validation for reports
