Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer to join our team in Ahmedabad. The role involves testing web and application-based software to identify defects, validate functionality, and ensure the overall quality of software releases.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in manual testing, a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, and the ability to collaborate effectively with developers, business analysts, project managers, and other team members. The candidate should also possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed manual test cases based on business and functional requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and System Integration Testing (SIT).
• Conduct end-to-end testing to validate complete workflows across web and application-based software.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman to validate backend services.
• Conduct cross-browser and cross-platform testing to ensure compatibility.
• Identify, log,



and track defects using tools such as Jira or Trello, with clear descriptions, screenshots, and supporting documentation.
• Re-test resolved defects and perform regression testing before releases.
• Collaborate closely with developers, project managers, business analysts, and technical leads to ensure timely and high-quality software delivery.
• Participate in requirement analysis and prepare effective test scenarios and test cases.
• Maintain test documentation, reports, and other QA artifacts.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and coordinate with stakeholders when required.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Hands-on experience in functional and regression testing.
• Experience writing clear and comprehensive test cases and test scenarios.
• Valuable understanding of the defect lifecycle and experience with bug-trac
