About the Role

Ikontel Solutions Pvt Ltd is hiring a Collection Specialist for our Collection Team in Bangalore. You will follow up with customers on overdue payments, build repayment commitments, and help keep recovery targets on track while staying compliant and professional in every interaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Contact customers by phone, WhatsApp, and email to follow up on pending dues
- Understand each customer's situation and secure clear payment commitments
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly collection and recovery targets
- Follow up consistently on promise-to-pay (PTP) dates until payment is received
- Update every call outcome, remark, and PTP accurately in the CRM or collection system
- Handle difficult conversations calmly, with a polite and qualified approach
- Follow company policies, RBI guidelines, and ethical collection practices at all times




- Escalate disputes or complex cases to the team lead
- Share regular reports on collections, follow-ups, and pending accounts

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in collections / recovery / telecalling for collections
- DRA certified (Debt Recovery Agent certification), mandatory
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Fluency in English and Hindi. Kannada is preferred, and other regional languages are an added advantage
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, CRM tools)
- Target-driven, disciplined, and able to handle pressure
- Willingness to work Monday to Saturday from the Hebbal office
- Immediate joiners only

Good to Have
- Experience in banking, NBFC, home finance, or credit card collections
- Knowledge of the early-bucket and late-bucket collection process
- Strong command of customer follow-up and dispute handling
