- Aurora PostgreSQL and AWS RDS administration
- SQL Server administration
- User and role management
- Database troubleshooting
Scope: Part of a data engineering team responsible for data pipeline and application design, development, integration, delivery, maintenance and support. Manage and support Postgres and SQL Server databases, and build data ingestion pipelines on the Databricks platform.
Also required:
- Administering RDS Postgres and Aurora, with an understanding of SQL Server administration
- Databricks: Unity Catalog, notebooks and pipelines
- 3+ years of software development on commercial applications
- Agile/Scrum and DevSecOps in distributed teams
- AWS, serverless, event-driven architecture, microservices, CI/CD and infrastructure as code
- Diagnosing and fixing production issues
