About the Role

Zavya is looking for a sharp and execution-focused Buying Executive to support day-to-day buying operations, maintain accurate data, coordinate with vendors, and ensure purchase and sampling activities move on time. This is an entry-level role suited for someone who is organized, comfortable with data, and wants to build a career in buying, merchandising, sourcing, and vendor management.

Key Responsibilities

· Maintain buying, PO, sampling, vendor, costing, and delivery trackers.

· Create and update purchase order data and ensure accurate records.

· Follow up with vendors for order confirmation, sampling status, production progress, and dispatch timelines.

· Track pending samples, approvals, delays, and open action items.

· Coordinate with design, merchandising, QC, warehouse, and finance teams.

· Maintain vendor-wise order history, pricing, lead times, and communication records.

· Support new product launch execution through timely follow-ups and tracker updates.

· Flag delays, data mismatches, or missing information to the senior buying team.

· Support invoice, PO, GRN,



and basic commercial reconciliation wherever required.

· Prepare daily / weekly buying status updates.

What We're Looking For

· 0-2 years of experience in buying, merchandising, sourcing, operations, or coordination.

· Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills.

· Comfortable working with formulas, lookups, pivots, and large data sets.

· Positive communication and follow-up discipline.

· Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

· Willingness to learn vendor management, buying, and product development.

· Jewellery / fashion / accessories exposure will be an advantage.
