Role Description The Head / Director – Business Development & Commercial is a full-time, on-site role located in Lucknow. This role leads the development and execution of business growth strategies, including identifying new market opportunities, building a robust sales pipeline, and expanding DRLPL’s client base in industrial and compliance-focused sectors. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing lead generation activities,



managing key accounts, negotiating commercial contracts, and monitoring performance against revenue and profitability targets. The role also involves collaborating with technical and operations teams to align service offerings with market needs, representing the company at industry events, and establishing processes and metrics for sustainable business growth. The Head / Director will be expected to build and mentor a small commercial team and maintain high standards of professionalism and ethical business conduct.
Qualifications
• Demonstrated expertise in new business development and lead generation, with the ability to identify, qualify, and convert opportunities.
• Strong skills in business planning and commercial strategy, including market analysis and revenue forecasting.
• Proficiency in contract negotiation and pricing discussions, with experience structuring mutually beneficial agreements.
