DiaLawGue has an exclusive mandate from a full-service law firm with offices across India to hire an Senior Associate for its General Corporate & Advisory practice. The role is based in the firm's New Delhi office, full time and in office. The firm advises businesses, investors, institutions and individuals across corporate, commercial and disputes work. It is a client-focused firm that puts its clients' needs first, and it looks for people who take ownership of their work and act without waiting to be asked.

The role
This is a senior corporate role for a lawyer who can take a mandate from first call to closing, with the judgment to know what the client really needs. You'll work with a high degree of independence across commercial, transactional and general corporate work.

What you'll do




• Run corporate and commercial mandates independently, from first instructions through to closing
• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements and transaction documents
• Work on M&A;, joint ventures, private equity and other corporate transactions, covering structuring, due diligence, documentation and closing
• Advise clients on corporate, governance and regulatory matters
• Lead negotiations with counterparties and their counsel
• Act as the client's main point of contact, managing expectations, timelines and deliverables
• Guide junior team members on drafting and diligence
