Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Commis 1 - Continental to join our culinary team in Visakhapatnam, India. In this entry-level kitchen position, you will work under the guidance of senior chefs to prepare and present Continental cuisine while maintaining the highest standards of food quality and safety.



This role offers an excellent chance to develop your culinary skills in a professional kitchen environment while contributing to an exceptional dining experience.
• Prepare and cook Continental dishes according to established recipes and plating standards
• Perform mise en place activities, including washing, peeling, chopping, and organizing ingredients
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, stovetops, grills, and food processors
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety and hygiene protocols
• Assist senior chefs with food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation
• Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure consistent quality and food safety
• Follow all kitchen procedures and health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely service
• Receive feedback and implement improvements to enhance culinary skills
• Support inventory management by reporting on ingredient usag
