Get ready to

• Define and drive the overall technical strategy and architecture across multiple products and brands;
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 3-4 backend engineers;
• Own system architecture decisions — design for scalability, maintainability, and reliability;
• Review technical designs and code to ensure quality, performance, and adherence to best practices;
• Hands-on development using PHP, Laravel, and Laravel Nova;
• Identify technical debt, propose improvements, and drive their implementation proactively;
• Ensure system reliability — monitor, troubleshoot,



and resolve production issues, and put safeguards in place to prevent recurrence;
• Build and improve engineering processes, eliminate bottlenecks, and ensure consistency across teams;
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted development practices to improve delivery speed;
• Track and report technical health metrics (uptime, performance, incident counts) to senior management;
• Collaborate closely with frontend, QA, and product teams;
• Stay up-to-date with current tools, architectural patterns, and AI-assisted development practices;
• Proactively identify technical risks and gaps and take initiative to address them without waiting to be directed.
