Job Description A large manufactoring organization is seeking a Data Readiness Analyst that will sit fully remote in India supporting a US based company for a 6 month project with possible extensions. In this role you are expected to serve as a functional Data Readiness Analyst for a SAP S/4HANA data migration and readiness activities. You will be partnering with business and technical teams to design, validate, cleanse, transform, and load enterprise data while ensuring quality, compliance, and successful deployment outcomes. Additional responsibilities include: - Partner with Data Readiness, Solution Delivery, and business teams to ensure data migration activities support SAP S/4HANA business requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data mapping, transformation, and validation rules for migrated data.
- Validate extracted, transformed, and loaded data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with business processes.
- Support the design, testing, and execution of ETL processes using SAP BODS and SAP HANA.
- Perform data profiling, data quality assessments, and ongoing data cleansing activities to improve source data integrity.
- Coordinate pre- and post-load validation activities, securing approvals and documenting results.
- Investigate, document, and drive resolution of data quality and migration defects.
- Gather, construct, and prepare business data from legacy systems for migration into SAP S/4HANA.
- Develop and execute validation test scripts to support cutover and go-live readiness.
- Ensure compliance with risk, control, and SOX requirements through proper documentation and governance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, team training, and knowledge-sharing activities. Skills and Requirements - 5+ years' experience performing Data Analyst and/or Business Analyst activities.




- 2+ years' experience with SAP ECC/S4 HANA, or combination of SAP Certification and 1+ years' experience with SAP.
- Previous experience in data migration and/or data quality roles, specifically targeting SAP S/4HANA implementations.
- Previous experience working with Developers in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS), designing and executing ETL processes to support business functions and data migration to SAP S/4HANA.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with business teams to define and apply data transformation and mapping rules, ensuring alignment with SAP S/4HANA operational and functional goals.
- Strong knowledge of SAP HANA, including its use in data modeling, staging, and validation to support functional migration requirements.
- Expertise in one of the four functional areas:
o Source to Pay (S2P)
o Record to Report (R2R)
o Plan to Deliver (P2D)
o Procure to Cash (P2C) also known as Procure to Pay P2P
1-2 years' experience with SAP S4 HANA EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) extension a plus.
