Position: Forest Clearance Adviser (FCA) – Consultant Location: Pune, Maharashtra Engagement Type: Consultant / Retainer Basis Experience: Minimum 10 years in the Forest Department Key Responsibilities Socio-Economic Baseline & Impact Assessments: Conduct field surveys, focus group discussions, and interviews to assess the living conditions and economic recovery of resettled families. Resettlement & Rehabilitation (R&R;) Monitoring: Monitor implementation of R&R; packages, including land allocation, housing, and compensation disbursement. Livelihood Restitution Analysis: Assess the restoration of livelihoods such as agriculture, animal husbandry, and local crafts. Community Infrastructure Audits: Monitor access to drinking water, healthcare, schools, electricity, and sanitation in resettlement colonies. Grievance Redressal & Policy Advocacy:



Document community grievances and prepare evidence-based reports for relevant authorities. Social Inclusion: Assess the impact on vulnerable groups, including women, elderly individuals, landless labourers, and tribal communities. Government Scheme Integration: Coordinate with panchayats and government departments to facilitate access to welfare and social security schemes. Data Management & Impact Reporting: Prepare analytical reports, policy briefs, and impact assessments using field data. Field Team Training & Stakeholder Coordination: Train community mobilizers and coordinate with government officials, civil society organisations, and village representatives.
