JOB DESCRIPTION
Chef de Partie (CDP) – Bakery
Department: Food Production – Bakery
Designation: Chef de Partie (CDP) – Bakery
Reports To: Sous Chef / Executive Chef
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and produce breads, cakes, pastries, and other bakery items as per hotel standards.
- Maintain quality, taste, presentation, and consistency of all products.
- Ensure proper hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness in the bakery section.
- Manage daily bakery production and ensure timely preparation.
- Monitor stock and inform the Chef about ingredient requirements.
- Supervise and guide Commis and junior bakery staff.
- Minimize wastage and ensure proper storage and handling of bakery products.
