About the Role

Vision School of Aviation is looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Part-Time Faculty – Logistics to provide industry-oriented training to students pursuing careers in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Aviation, and related sectors.

The ideal candidate should have strong academic knowledge and practical industry experience, along with excellent communication and teaching skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct engaging and informative classes on Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
- Prepare lesson plans, presentations, practical activities, and learning materials.
- Cover topics such as:
- Introduction to Logistics & Supply Chain Management
- Warehousing & Inventory Management
- Transportation Management
- Freight Forwarding
- Import & Export Procedures
- Shipping & Documentation
- Procurement & Purchasing
- Distribution & Logistics Operations
- Supply Chain Planning
- Customs Procedures
- Cargo Handling
- Air Cargo & Airport Logistics
- Logistics Cost Management
- Customer Service & Logistics Coordination
- Provide practical, industry-oriented knowledge using real-world examples and case studies.
- Conduct assessments, assignments, presentations, and practical sessions.




- Monitor and evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Guide students in academic projects and industry-related assignments.
- Maintain effective classroom discipline and student engagement.
- Coordinate with the academic team regarding syllabus completion, schedules, and student performance.
- Keep updated with current trends, technologies, and developments in the logistics and supply chain industry.

Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Transportation Management, or a related field.
- Prior teaching or training experience in Logistics/Supply Chain is preferred.
- Candidates with relevant industry experience in Logistics, Freight Forwarding, Shipping, Warehousing, Supply Chain, Cargo, or Transportation are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Good command of English.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and practical manner.
- Solid classroom management and student-handling skills.

Pay: ₹300.00 - ₹500.00 per hour
