Position: Mechanical Operator – Plasma Cutting & Production

1. Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Mechanical Operator to operate and supervise plasma cutting machines, handle material data entry, maintain dispatch records, and support daily production activities in our steel building manufacturing unit.

2. Key Responsibilities

- Operate and supervise CNC Plasma Cutting Machines.
- Prepare and execute plasma cutting programs as per drawings and production requirements.
- Enter material details, cutting data, and production information into the relevant software.
- Update material consumption, stock details, and cutting reports.
- Handle dispatch software and maintain accurate dispatch records.
- Monitor cutting quality, dimensions, and material utilization.
- Perform minor machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
- Identify machine faults and report major technical issues to the supervisor.
- Ensure proper material handling and minimize material wastage.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean working area.
- Coordinate with the production, design, and stores teams to ensure smooth workflow.

Educational Qualification

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Candidates with relevant machine operation experience may also apply.

4. Required Skills

- Knowledge of CNC Plasma Cutting Machine operation and programming.
- Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills.
- Ability to use production and dispatch software.
- Basic understanding of mechanical drawings and measurements.
- Knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Attention to detail, responsibility, and teamwork.

5. Experience

- Freshers with relevant technical knowledge may apply.
- Experience in CNC Plasma Cutting, steel fabrication, or manufacturing will be an added advantage.
