We are seeking a precise and technical Glass Draftsman to join our production team at . In this role, you will be responsible for translating client requirements and architectural drawings into accurate production documentation (Shop Floor Orders). You will play a critical role in ensuring that fabrication processes—including cutting, polishing, and tempering—are executed to exact customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Production Documentation: Prepare, review, and issue accurate Shop Floor Orders (SFOs) that include detailed glass specifications, dimensions, hole locations, and cutout requirements.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Translate architectural or customer-provided sketches and CAD drawings into ready-to-manufacture glass production layouts.
- Quality Control: Verify all dimensions, glass types (e.g., 10mm/12mm Toughened/Explicit), and process routes (Cutting/Grinding/Tempering) before releasing orders to the shop floor.
- Technical Coordination: Act as a bridge between the sales/coordination team and the shop floor, clarifying any discrepancies in drawing details or fabrication requirements.
- Material Optimization:



Assist in ensuring glass sizing and layout optimization to minimize waste during the cutting process.
- Data Management: Maintain organized digital files of all approved production drawings, project revisions, and customer-specific documentation.

Qualifications:

- Experience: 1–3 years of drafting experience in the glass or construction industry is highly preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong command of CAD software (AutoCAD) and familiarity with digital layout tools.
- Glass Knowledge: Solid understanding of glass fabrication terminology (Toughened/Heat Strengthened, Polish types, Hole/Cutout specifications, etc.).
- Detail Orientation: Extreme attention to detail; you must be able to catch errors in measurements or specifications before they reach production.
- Education: Diploma or ITI in Drafting/Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Soft Skills:

- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight production delivery deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with production staff and sales coordinators.

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
