Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Software Testing Engineer with 5-7 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in API testing using Postman and SoapUI. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can ensure the quality and performance of our software applications through rigorous testing methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test cases for API services using Postman and SoapUI.
• Perform functional, regression on various software applications.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on software functionality.
• Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
• Participate in test planning and strategy discussions to improve testing processes.
• Provide support in troubleshooting and resolving issues found during testing.




• Maintain test documentation and ensure compliance with quality standards.

Mandatory Skills

• Proficient in API testing using SoapUI.
• Experience with Postman for API testing.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Ability to write transparent and concise test cases and documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with automation testing tools.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on API testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
