Profile: Accountant

Experience:

- 2 to 4 years of experience in accounting.

Roles:

- Maintain day-to-day books of accounts in Tally, including sales, purchase, journal, payment and receipt entries
- Prepare GST-compliant invoices and handle e-way bills and e-invoicing
- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and reconcile with GSTR-2B
- Handle TDS calculation, deduction, payment and return filing
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, vendor and customer ledger reconciliation, and payment follow-ups
- Track project-wise costing, expenses and billing (running bills, milestone billing, retention)
- Perform bank reconciliation and manage daily cash and bank entries
- Process monthly payroll inputs, statutory dues (PF, ESI, PT) and staff expense claims
- Maintain fixed asset register and inventory and stock records for solar materials
- Coordinate with the CA or auditor for monthly closing, audits
- Prepare MIS reports and monthly accounting summaries for management

Qualification:

- B. Com / M. Com (a Commerce graduate is required)
- Additional certification in Tally, GST or Accounting is an advantage
