01 Role Summary

The Assistant General Manager – Production Planning & Control is responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling production activities to ensure timely execution of orders in line with merchant requirements, delivery commitments, and operational capabilities of the processing plant.

The role involves translating order requirements and merchant commitments into structured production plans and schedules while ensuring optimal utilization of plant capacity, materials, and resources. The AGM – PPC will act as the key coordination point between merchandising, production, quality, and dispatch teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of orders.

02 Roles & Responsibilities





• Develop and manage production plans based on order priorities, merchant commitments, plant capacity, and operational constraints. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to ensure effective utilization of machines and manpower, balanced loading across processing stages, and prevention of production congestion or capacity imbalances.

• Continuously track work-in-progress (WIP) across all stages of processing to ensure orders move smoothly through the production cycle. Identify delays or bottlenecks early and initiate corrective actions in coordination with the production team.

• Maintain constant communication with the AGM – Production to ensure production plans are executed as scheduled and operational constraints are addressed promptly. In case of production disruptions or urgent merchant requirements, revise production schedules and communicate revised priorities to the production team.
