Key Responsibilities:

1. Finance & Accounts
• Lead end-to-end Finance & Accounts operations, including General Ledger, AP, AR, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, inter-company accounting, provisions and accruals.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly and annual financial closure, preferably within five working days.
• Review financial statements, accounting adjustments, balance sheet reconciliations and management reports.




• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.

2. Taxation & Statutory Compliance
• Lead direct and indirect taxation, including GST, TDS, Income Tax and Advance Tax.
• Ensure timely filing of statutory returns, tax payments and reconciliations.
• Manage tax assessments, notices, enquiries and related proceedings in coordination with external consultants and legal advisors.
• Identify tax risks, monitor changes in tax regulations and ensure timely resolution of tax matters.

3. Audit & Internal Controls
• Manage statutory, tax and internal audits, ensuring timely submission of audit schedules and supporting documents.
• Strengthen internal financial controls, maker-checker mechanisms and compliance with the Delegation of Authority (DoA).
• Identify control gaps, resolve audit observations and ensure adherence to finance policies and SOPs.
