Job Summary
Cyient, is seeking a skilled and experienced Data Architect to design, implement, and manage robust and scalable data solutions. This role will be pivotal in shaping our data strategy and ensuring the integrity, security, and accessibility of our data assets.
Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain enterprise data architecture, including data models, data flows, and data governance frameworks.
* Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to understand data requirements and translate them into effective architectural solutions.
* Evaluate and recommend appropriate data technologies, platforms, and tools (e.g., relational databases, NoSQL databases, data lakes, data warehouses, cloud data services).
* Develop and enforce data standards, best practices, and security policies to ensure data quality and compliance.
* Oversee the integration of various data sources, both internal and external, to create a unified view of organizational data.
* Lead data migration and transformation initiatives, ensuring data accuracy and minimal disruption.
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to data engineers, developers, and other team members.
* Stay abreast of emerging data architecture trends, technologies, and methodologies.
* Document data architecture designs, processes, and data dictionaries.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
* 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, database design, and data warehousing.
* Proven expertise in designing and implementing scalable and high-performance data solutions.
* Robust proficiency in various database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
* Experience with cloud data platforms and associated services.
* Solid understanding of data governance, data security, and data privacy principles (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
* Drive modernization and migration from legacy platforms to Microsoft F
