Role Description The Safety Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This role is responsible for implementing and monitoring health, safety, and security standards across residential and commercial project sites. Daily tasks include conducting site inspections, identifying hazards, recommending corrective actions, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies. The Safety Officer will investigate accidents and incidents, maintain safety documentation and reports, and coordinate emergency response plans. The role also involves delivering safety training to employees and contractors, promoting a strong safety culture, and collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders to minimize risk.
Qualifications
• Candidates should possess robust Health & Safety and Occupational Health skills, with a solid understanding of applicable regulations and standards.
• Candidates should possess skills in Accident Investigation to analyze incidents,



identify root causes, and implement preventive measures.
• Candidates should possess Security-related skills to support safe site operations and protect people, property, and equipment.
• Candidates should possess Safety Training skills to design and deliver effective training sessions, toolbox talks, and awareness programs.
• Relevant diploma or degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are an advantage.
• Experience working as a Safety Officer or in a similar role within construction, infrastructure, or interiors projects is beneficial.
• Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence safe behaviors on-site.
